About Us
A penny for your thoughts indeed. Around here that would be a raise.

What makes a good blog? I think thematic consistency, a little exhibitionism, and honest writing. I can promise you the last one.

Most of my posts seem to be about music or politics. Some of them are funny. But all of them would love to hear a comment from you.

Oh-- and please welcome God to the APW team. We're thrilled and humbled to serve as His earthly vessel.

Name:
Location: NYC

I was born at a relatively young age. Growing up consumed the better part of my childhood. As a young man I chased a lot of girls. But they kept getting away. Then I got older and even slower, so I got married. I've lived in New York City almost since before I moved here. I summer in Manhattan, which is like New York City, but with more humidity.

Here's me, without baby, thinking big thoughts. (Actually, what I'm thinking is, "Hey, these aren't Pringles!") I think I look better with baby.

The Debate
Thursday, September 30, 2004
I'm still watching... looks to me like Kerry is saying what Kerry says, Bush is saying what Bush says, and they are basically talking past each other. Kerry has been more articulate, Bush has seemed a tad flustered at times. But I don't see a winner or a loser. Bush left Kerry one or two opportunities to hit him with a kill shot, and Kerry missed them. I'm curious to hear what the undecideds think. I don't think either cndidate changed anyone's mind.

23 minutes left. Maybe I'll post again.

Coming soon... more music.

Wasn't going to watch debate (still not sure I'm going to vote). Then thought maybe I would get some sort of revelation if I did watch. I tuned into the debate for 5 minutes, and realized this was about scriptwriting more than anything else. And it irritated me that Kerry referred to Bush as "the president". Don't call your mother "she". I turned it off, and remain as wildly ambivalent as I was 5 minutes before.
